Tucked way on a quiet street in District 66, this charming two story is full of unexpected yet thoughtful details! The first of many things I fell in love with when I began working with this client was her incredible art collection and her desire for hand-crafted, interesting pieces that aren't easily labeled. A home base for her travels to Park City, Newport Beach, and Copenhagen...it was important to curate a space that felt collected, inviting, and approachable. Natural linens, rugs with a story (and a few imperfections!), and art that makes you stop in your tracks....are just a few of my favorite details that make this house a home.
A custom sized Radley sectional by Cisco Brothers is beautifully shown in a natural, nubby linen. We are obsessed with the iron feet on this! Paired with one of our favorite, drop dead gorgeous rough leather coffee tables, a stunning Moroccan inspired undyed wool rug, and a quirky gilded Mona Lisa art that makes us smile absolutely every time we see it!
We love this client's vision -- she totally transformed this kitchen into a dream with bold, mosaic backsplash and white concrete countertops. Natural, rattan pendants bring the laidback vibes. We personally sourced this antique Khotan wide gallery runner just for her kitchen. We love the unexpected richness of color in this otherwise neutral space.
A softer approach in the dining area with a layered natural materials of jute, walnut, wool, and linen. The vintage Persian rug in pinks and blues doesn't feel matchy-matchy and becomes a subtle star when paired with her art collection. Mismatched chairs, art with oversized mats, and dreamy cloud-like curtains is one of my favorite spots in this home!
A modern sitting room is texture heaven right off the entry! After these chairs were damaged from moving, we brought them back to life in a bright white linen.
A dreamy, layered master bedroom of sheepskins and warm woods is a stark contrast to the original which she gently described as "very yellow & red".
